The Vespa casing is quite vulnerable to breaking due to being cast aluminium, nowhere more so than around the driveside bearing circlip area. Welding this area is a nightmare due to the quality and thickness of the cast.
 SIP has a solution: this repair lock ring. This is a direct replacement and bolts straight over the bearing, securing it in place. 
 Made from high-strength spring steel complying with DIN-standard and built to resist any normal loads.
 
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to drill the casing and secure this plate with bolts (not supplied).
