The Michelin Power Pure scooter tyre maintains its great performance throughout its lifespan thanks to the tread pattern which originated from high performance Michelin sports tyres. The knowledge Michelin have gained over the years from racing in regards to Rubber Compounds has been adapted to balance grip versus wear.
 
The Power Pure Scooter is able to offer increased durability thanks to the lightly grooved central band on the front and rear tyre, meaning that there is more rubber in the area which is experiencing the most impact. 
 
Michelin's 2CT (2 Compound Technology) has also been used. Sucessfully accomplishes two conflicting ideals wear resistance in the center of the tread, and grip on the shoulders, providing total performance with longetivity and grip. This technology has derived from MotoGP, making it possible to use two distinct rubber compounds to achieve what was once thought impossible a combination of the best wet grip and best mileage.
